Heart-shaped thick leaves are medium green with an intense white underside.
The thick waxy looking leaves have ruffled margins and are held up on red petioles.
Leaves have some twisting and folding which helps to show off the white backsides.
When the leaves twist up you can imagine the iconic photos of Marilyn standing over the subway grate. Hosta 'Marilyn Monroe' offers attractive green foliage that will stand out in the shade garden.
