Liriope variegata/ Variegated Lillyturf - new!
Variegated Liriope/ Lilyturf makes an ideal choice for low maintenance and great looks. It easily grows just about anywhere, in most soils, from full sun to part shade, to even dark shade. Tufts of grass-like green foliage with creamy yellow margins grow 12-20″ tall. In late summer to early fall spikes of lavender flowers appear. Drought tolerant and resists deer and rabbits.
Variegated Lilyturf’s compact foliage makes it a top choice for containers and edging. It’s fantastic in formal beds, as an edger, cottage, pollinator, and cutting gardens. Variegated Lilyturf works well massed or grouped in shady and woodland gardens. Spectacular landscapes can be created by using them with other perennials. You can create a fantastic look by mixing them with Astilbe and Hosta in a shade bed.
