Hosta 'Waving Wuffles' is distinctive known for its long, green leaves with incredibly wavy and ruffled margins. Introduced by Tony Avent, a hybrid seedling of Hosta ventricosa.
- Foliage: The leaves are narrow, green, and slightly shiny on both sides. Their primary appeal is the "unruly" ruffling along the edges, which becomes even more pronounced as the plant ages.
- Flowers: In late summer, it produces spikes of bell-shaped, dark purple flowers that are well-scaled to the foliage mound.
- Size: This hosta grows into a medium-sized mound, reaching roughly 12 to 20 inches tall and spreading between 28 and 42 inches wide.
- Light: It thrives best in part sun to full shade.
