'Gold Edger' hosta has heart-shaped golden leaves. Forms a perfect dense mound of nice golden foliage. Leaves emerge chartreuse and brighten as the season progresses.
If planted in some bright sun the clump will become a brilliant yellow color.
Like the name implies, 'Gold Edger' makes a great border plant for the edge of the shade garden. (P. Aden 1978) Most likely a Florence Shaw creation
