Stachys Helene von Stein is a low-growing groundcover selection that produces a dense mat of woolly silver-gray leaves with an irresistible velvety feel. This cultivar is particularly useful to gardeners as its leaves won't melt in heat and humidity. It also rarely produces flower stems - keeping its attractive look with little effort. Leaf shape and texture resemble a lamb's ear, hence the common name. Great as an edger for sunny beds!
