Viburnum lantana 'Mohican'
Viburnum lantana 'Mohican', is an incredibly tough shrub with creamy white flat-topped flowers entirely enveloping the plant in late April or May.
This viburnum has one of the most effective displays of bright, orange-red fruit in early July, lasting a month before maturing to black in fall. It has dark, hairy leaves that create a dark background to showcase other plants. It displays a very compact globose form. It matures to 6' high with an equal spread and it can be pruned to any size.
The foliage turns a purple bronze in autumn.
It thrives in full to part sun and regular watering.
The Mohican makes a nice specimen plant, container plant, screen, hedge or garden backdrop.
Pot size: #3 ( 9.0 qt) This plant has several stems, the tallest approx. 30". Not currently blooming
