Double pink or red or white peony (most are pink). This heirloom variety is a superb garden plant. Similar to blooms from my grandmother's garden. Large blooms and glossy foliage of this peony make it an essential ingredient of every perennial garden. Their June display is the highlight of the early summer garden.
Please note: Don't be surprised if there are few or no flowers the first spring after planting; plants generally take a few years to settle in and bloom heavily. Ensure you plant the roots within 1" of the surface for proper placement.
