Bee Balm - Imagine fluttery pink fringe edging a small, dark purple cushion when contemplating the flower head of compact Monarda didyma 'Pink Lace.' Its dark red stems reach 16″ tall and are well branched and upright, spreading outward as the plant matures. A great choice for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to gardens with limited space. Place 'Pink Lace' near the front of a border, with Sedum 'Matrona,' Salvia 'May Night,' or Geranium 'Rozanne' at its feet. The leaves release the usual minty pungency when touched.
